Description:
This distinctive and delicate tea is grown in the Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula, and Sri Lankan area. The black tea is then blended with bergamot. This blend has been known in England since at least the 1820s. One origin story for the name tells that Charles, 2nd Earl Grey travelled to China. One of the men traveling with him saved a Chinese mandarin's son from drowning, and so Earl Grey was gifted a box of the tea blend. Whatever the origins, we can agree that this fragrant, floral, and invigorating tea can be enjoyed any time of day.
